Research Centers

The LRRC consists of six Research Centers. The primary functions of the Research Centers are to

  • Test innovative hypotheses of mechanisms that control lung repair and regeneration
  • Develop novel tools and resources that will facilitate research in lung repair and regeneration
  • Validate the tools and resources developed by the other Research Centers
  • Develop collaborative research activities
  • Support skills development in the new generation of lung researchers through hosted traineeships, intensive hands on workshops, and/or training session as part of the Skills Development Core
