Lung Developmental Gene Expression Profiles

Location: Lung Developmental Gene Expression profiles @CCHMC

Description: Web-tool containing whole mouse lung mRNA microarray profiles for E15.5-PND1 for C57BL6 and AJ mice. It is designed for ease of interrogation of each change in mRNA of interest and each RNA is directly linked to PubMed databases. By typing in a gene symbol of interest and selecting the mouse strain, the tool:

  • Visualizes any given gene’s expression profile during lung development and maturation
  • Supplies the gene’s relative expression across all tissues
  • Provides external links for users to get additional information about the corresponding RNA and protein

Instructions: IT IS ESSENTIAL TO USE CORRECT MOUSE GENE NOMENCLATURE AND COMBINATION OF UPPER AND LOWER CASE FONT

Source: Whitsett Lab (Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center). The tool was developed using the lung development gene expression profiling data in collaboration with Jackson Laboratories and other related datasets on the public domain.
